Popular Actress Caught With Drugs At The Airport

When people want to get rich quick and live a lifestyle they’ve not worked for, they turn to dirty acts in a bid to achieve their desperate desires and land in trouble. Why not work and enjoy your life in peace?

A popular actress (names withheld) was on Sunday night apprehended while allegedly trying to smuggle drugs inside her luggage estimated at millions into the country.

The popular South African actress was caught at the OR Tambo International Airport. The spokesperson of the South Africa Revenue Service (SARS), Luther Lebelo, said 15.4kg of ephedrine was found in the actress’ bag valued at R4.6m on arrival from Abu Dhabi.

He said, “The passenger, who was proceeding through the ‘Nothing to declare channel/green channel’, was stopped by customs officials for her bags to be scanned. One of her bags showed “suspicious images”.

“Upon investigation, officials discovered 15 parcels wrapped in carbon/foil-like material hidden in the luggage. Immediate tests conducted by SARS officials revealed the suspected substance was ephedrine.”

She has been handed over to the police. In line with South African law, her details will only be released to the media once she has appeared in court.

Sean Tizzle has said he is not sure if Basket Mouth contacted his management team like he said he did and they asked him to pay a fee, he says if at all he did and they asked him for an amount, the comedian should have contacted him, because he sees him like an uncle in the industry and he respects him. Below is what Sean Tizzle said about the matter to Saturday Beats;

“It is cool that everything is out there. If Basketmouth has any issue with me, I would have expected that he would call me and speak with me. I see Basketmouth as an uncle. If he called anybody from my management team, there should be verification and if he did not like what they told him, he could have called me to inform me.

“Nobody contacted us to tell us that they wanted us to be at his show. Even if somebody contacted us, I would have thought that it should be directed towards me personally instead of going through my management team. If it happened, I would have expected that it would be resolved immediately without the news getting out to the public. It is something we could have resolved amicably. We were not contacted to perform at his show.”

He also emphasized that when the news broke his manager contacted Basket Mouth immediately.

“Let’s be logical, if Basketmouth with what he has done for me should contact me for a show, I cannot give him a ridiculous price. I did not know anything and I learnt about it when the news broke. I was so shocked when I heard the news. It is true that he has supported my career and I really appreciate him for supporting my brand. We tried to reach out to him when the news broke but we could not get a hold of any of his management team. Rico, my manager, sent Basketmouth a Whatsapp message immediately the news broke. They talked about it and we are in good terms with Basketmouth because we have spoken about it and cleared it all out. We have a good relationship with him and we have sorted everything out,” he said.

Aimakhu and Niyi Johnson may not end anytime soon going by the
latest revelations.

Iyabo Ojo Declares, I Have Found Love Again

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has openly come out to say she has found love again and not ashamed about it. Iyabo said, she actually found love FIVE YEARS ago, but they only kept it on low key. The mother of two who disclosed this to Punch, spoke about how busy she is, and how she has always made time for her lover and although they haven’t made it public or official, she believes they are married. Iyabo was once married but the marriage lasted for a very short time and produced two kids. Her words;
“I thank God that I have found love and I am very happy with him. He understands me because I am not an easy person to handle. I am always busy but my lover is very understanding. I always make sure I find time for him despite my busy schedule. I cook for him as well as my children. I don’t see cooking for my lover as a big thing because of the way I was brought up. We have been together for about five years and as far as we are concerned, we are married even though we have not made it official yet. Nigerian music act and hip-hop rapper, Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru and popularly known as Reminisce, aka Alaga Ibile, has disclosed that the ban on his song, Tesojue’, has little or no effect on him.

The 34-year-old Buga crooner in a recent chat with newsmen disclosed this.

DAILY POST recalls that the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission (NBC) had placed a ban on his song, ‘Tesojue’ sometime last year.

He said, “I wasn’t bothered when I got the news because I was convinced it would not affect my career.

“The ban on my song, Tesojue, actually makes little or no difference. The song was released last year and it enjoyed airplay towards the end of last year and early this year. I am not someone who often goes to a radio station with my songs, so the effect is very minimal.

Reminisce further said that although it is very disappointing, it had little or no effect on his career or creative flow.

“There are songs that I make and do not give to radio stations. When you get famous to a certain extent, presenters go out of their way to download your song and play it on their shows. I really appreciate those that do that because they do it out of love. But whenever I submit my songs to radio stations, I make sure they are clean. For those that are not clean, I make sure I re-record them and edit the vulgar part for public consumption on the radio.

“I think NBC should try to hire people that understand the industry because abroad, they also have these laws but once the radio version is clean, they do not disturb the artistes. They should create a screening board that would check our works and inform us of the ones they feel are not for public consumption. It is not fair that they make us go through the process of creating a hit song, and shooting the video with millions and they later tell us the song is banned.

“What have they been doing since?” he quizzed.

“They should consider us too because we spend a lot of money putting these works together. As for me, it has minimal effects but I am sure that there are a lot of people out there that it really affects,”
